Naturally Radiant Brightening Hot Cloth Cleanser

Hey ladies,
Todays review post is of the Superdrug own brand Hot cloth Cleanser. Before this product I was a newbie to hot cloth cleansers but this was on offer so I couldn't resist. I believe it is now sold out too, so I'm glad I nabbed it when I did. I'd used a hot flannel before when cleansing my face but this was a whole new experience. The product itself is a really rich cream, probably due to the cocoa butter but is also very fresh (you can smell the Kiwi, which is lovely!). You smother the lovely cream all over your face and then with hand hot water wipe off the cleanser and all your make up in one step with the muslin cloth.
I've been suffering with terrible break outs and dry skin and so far (ive been using this for about a week) my skin has improved. Obviously this could be a combination of things. I've also been cutting out as much sugar as possible, drinking more water, getting more sleep and staying away from stress as well as using this cleanser. So its a bit of a group effort and a little bit difficult to establish what's been working. But what I can vouch for is that this hasn't broken me out or caused any other nastie side effects either.
The first time I used this product I was very impressed. Not only did my face feel super clean, super soft but my skin and eyes looked brighter; My skin paler but less dull. I've now been having to stop myself from using it every day as it really is amazing. I've been saving it for full make up days, which are rare, as its just amazing at taking off my make-up too.I even took this with me on my trip to london on wednesday as I figured it was better than taking make up wipes and a face wash as this does both jobs. The only negative is the cloth. The cloth is great but it's disappointing it only comes with one as obviously you need to wash it or you're wiping your face with a dirty cloth. Thankfully I popped to the pound shop and bought 6 baby muslins for just £1 so I've got lots of cloths now.

Now my hot cloth cleanser virginity has been taken, I can't wait to try others. I'd love it if you guys suggested some for me for when I start work and can start treating myself.

  2. I cannot believe how affordable that is! I was using a hot cloth cleanser for about a year but it ended up being too expensive to keep up (£15). I mean, it's really not that expensive, but considering all of the less expensive options out there... I always felt when I used it that my skin was completely clean and fresh, and I really loved that. I'm going to keep my eyes out fo cheaper versions. I'm so glad your first experience was good!

  3. I've previously used the Liz earle cleanse and polish (£14.75) which was lovely, but expensive, then the NSPA hot cloth polish (£7) which never broke me out and was extremely similar to the liz earle (in my opinion) and today i brought and tried for the first time the Soap and glory fab pore hot cloth cleanser (£10).. i'm a complete convert to hot cloth cleansers, they leave you feeling so clean!

  7. I really want to try this! Might be a cheaper alternative to the Liz Earle Hot Cloth Cleanser. Baby Muslins are the best.
