Sleek Candy Collection Blush by 3 Sweet Cheeks

Sleek Candy Collection Blush by 3 Sweet Cheeks

Hey guys, Today I am reviewing the Limited edition Sleek Candy Collection Blush by 3 in Sweet Cheeks. These have been out for a while and seeing as the collection must be coming to an end soon I decided to finally review this and the eyeshadow palette I also picked up from the collection as soon as possible.

Before I bought this I was a Sleek virgin but having heard amazing things about their blushes I just had to pick this up as well as their Blush by 3 in Pumpkin, which ill review at a later date. These Blush by 3 palettes retail at £10 which is a good price for three blushes (considering their singles are £4.49 each) and 17g of product which goes a long way.

The packaging is the typical matt black case with a large mirror and three evenly sized pans of product. I love these cases, normally making sure I plan my make up around one of my Blush by 3 sets so that I don't have to double up with a mirror. I'd go into more dept but they're the standard Blush by 3 cases but with "Candy Collection SWEET CHEEKS" in white in the bottom left corner of the lid.

The colours are pink and purple based. Two powder, one cream finish. Forgive me if I'm wrong but I think this is the first cream blush Sleek have made, so it's good that they've tried to mix things up a bit for this collection. Although they're in the same collection, I find the colours to be very different.

Candy Floss, Dolly Mix, Cupcake

Candy Floss is the cream finish. This is super pigmented but blendable. I have tried this with my Stippling Brush but I would advise using you're fingers, especially if you're in a rush, as it can become patchy. That being said, with a finger this blends out beautifully and gives you a long lasting cheek colour. Normally I can apply this in the morning at around 7am and still have some left by lunch time at 1pm. One of the best cream blushes I've tried for staying power.

Dolly Mix and Cupcake are both powder finishes. Its hard to photograph Cupcake well but I think I've caught the true colours here, they seem washed out and not pink enough in other reviews I've read. Dolly Mixture is a beautiful pale lilac colour, where as Cupcake is a pink with shimmer. The powder is super pigmented but much easier to blend out and build than the cream quickly.

I absolutely love this palette. The colours, the formulas, the packaging. The staying power is amazing too. Ive had this kit for over a month (I know I could/should of reviewed this earlier!) and I've hardly made a dent in the pans. If there's still some left in your local Superdrug (or online from the Sleek website) and you love pink and purple blushes as much as I do, then go grab one now before it's too late.
