Sleek Romance Collection I Divine Palette in Vintage Romance

I-Divine in Vintage Romance - Sleek

Happy weekend! Today is a review of the new I-Divine palette from the Sleek Romance Collection. I reviewed the new blush, Antique, earlier in the week so make sure you pop over and have a read of that too. This is the best time to review these types of products as my local Superdrug has a ton of them now after the initial struggle to get home of both, and I can review them quickly as they're not the type of product to break me out. I have have Vintage Romance for almost two weeks now though so its nice to be able to review something that I'm still excited to reach for on my dresser but that I've had a good play with so far.

As usual the palette is in neat matte black packaging with a large mirror. This is always one of the major pros of Sleek make-up. It lives up to the name for one and if you're taking something with you theres no need for a mirror in your hand bag too. The colours have been names, which is always lovely. In keeping with the romantic theme of the collection their called names such as "meet in Madrid" and "Honeymoon in Hollywood", all using a place name and romantic activity. The names don't really match the colours. For instance, when I think of love I think of warmth, reds, pinks etc. and it's actually the black shade thats called "love in London" but thats okay. I don't mind that they match.

The formula of these is mostly shimmer and glitter, with one matte shade. The pigmentation is also wonderful, as with more Sleek products. Theres a good section with mostly golds and pinky purples. So far i've been creating just two looks with this on a regular basis. A gold eye using "Meet in Madrid", "Court in Cannes" and "Lust in LA" and a purple smokey-ish eye using "Marry in Monte Carlo" and "Honeymoon in Hollywood". There are always going to be shades you never really get to use in a palette. I think with Vintage Romance that might be "pretty in Paris" as I can't really see what other shades this bright super pigmented silver would go with, but its so pretty so I will have to find a way.

Over all, a great palette. Good formula, section, easy to create looks, nice packaging; Everything you'd expect from Sleek. A great one to add to my collection for A/W looks. Im really like purples at the moment too and this gives me some lovely, wearable, shades for this season. Will you be adding this to your collection? :)
