It's known that I have acne/break out prone skin. From countless blackheads to sore under the skin mountains of disgustingness, I've had my fair share of troublesome skin. Thankfully over the past two months I've started to find products that have really helped that we're not part of my previous skin care regime. Basically through trial and error I've managed to greatly reduce the amount of break outs and painful skin days. My skin isnt perfect, far from it, but it's nice to have products that seem to be taking control of the situation.
First theres the Clinique Take the Day off Cleansing Balm. I'd never tried a cleansing balm but after reading countless articles and blog posts about firstly how great cleansing balms we're for my try of skin and then how great this particular one was I decided to give it a go. Its a thin balm that leaves the skin soft and supple after use. Exfoliation is key with skin like this and my Aplha-H Liquid Gold is a chemical exfoliator (scary stuff? not so much) that helps to keep the ph balance of my skin acidic when used every other night and battle of any bacteria, dead skin and other nasties. For thorough cleansing I use my Origins Clear Improvement Mask, which I've reviewed already, which is a charcoal mask. This draws out any deep impurities and leaves the skin super clean. Then theres the final touches. Origins Super Spot Remover is not a miracle worker but it does help to bring down redness, inflammation and clear the skin when the break outs do occur.
So theres my four skin savours of the moment. I'd love to know what yours are?
