I currently have a lot of empties. I seem to have been storing them up for a long period of time. So I've separated them into a few categories so I can quickly rattle through them all but have still broken them up into a few posts. This post focuses on hair care.
First of all I've been using the entire Garnier Ultimate Blends Honey Treasures range which is a shampoo, conditioner and a treatment mask. This is their "strength restorer", which well didnt really do much. It cleaned my hair, it smelt lovely, but it didnt really make much difference to the overall strength of my hair. To counteract the breakage I get from bleach I decided to try the Plantur 21 Nutri-Caffeine Shampoo in the particularly bad areas and this definitely worked to some degree although for some reason I wasn't too compelled to re-purchase although never say never.
Once the Ultimate Blends treatment mask had finished I decided to try something else and went for the Loreal Elvive Full Restore masque as I believe it was on offer. Again, this did condition my hair but nothing to particularly write home about or for me to run to the shops to re-purchase now its ran out.
Never one to go half measures with protecting my hair I always use hair oil. I've finished two recently. The OGX Keratin Oil which is their weightless rapid reviving oil. This was super thin and didn't make my hair feel like it had much on it at all. I also finished the John Frieda Frizz-Ease Dream Curls Enhancing Oil. This really helped to bring out the natural wave/curl of my hair and is a great alternative to straightening and curling irons.
