L'Oreal Paris Pure Clay Collection

The L'Oreal Paris Pure Clay is brand new so I'm super excited to be reviewing these. There are three in the collection. There is the Purity Mask with eucalyptus which also leaves the skin  mattified, the Detox Mask with Charcoal to draw out impurities and also the Glow Mask with red algae for giving your complexion a boost.

All three masks dry down and feel stiff so use a cloth or lots of water to remove. I used a face cloth at the end of my bath which worked well. The Glow mask has a texture to is, I assume so it can buff away dead skin, so be careful near any where delicate like lips or eyes.

As you can see from the pictures the jars are large, holding 50ml each which is enough for 10 masks per product. If like me you want to use a little bit of each one of key areas then these bad boys will last you around 30 masks. So thats about 15-30 weeks depending on your pamper frequency. Not only are they good value but they work. From first use I noticed my skin smoother and even popped out with no make on later that day. I also noticed my fingers were smoother, which is incredible considering the small amount of time they were on my fingers.

Personally the one I can see me using the most is the Detox Mask. A good charcoal mask which is affordable is exactly what I've been looking for and a welcomed edition to my beauty stash. Generally I dont opt for exfoliators which uses any beads or anything physically and normally go for chemical methods but the Glow Mask is still really good value and worth a look if thats what you're into. I know I'll be using mine. The Purity Mask is probably the one I will use the least, meaning it will last the longest, as I have dry/dehydrated skin most of the time and really looking for ways to boost hydration, not mattify my already matte skin. Saying that, this will be handy in the summer months when oil levels are at their highest and Im sure I will use it on key ares, just not as much as I'd like.

Whats missing from this range for me is a mask which really boosts hydration. I know clay isn't meant for that but having a mask in the same packaging which filled that need and at the same price point would be a massive bonus for me! I picked all three of the masks up at my local boots for just £5 yeah, so they're a snip really. Will you be trying them out?
