Benefit have always had strong brow game. Their Browzings was the first brow product I ever used and I still hold close to my heart. Now Benefit have relaunched the existing collection and created some new products so now theres no more excuses. I was lucky to be invited to the Glasgow event last week where we got hands on with all the new products. After being colour matched and picking our two favourites, we got to take the Browvo Conditioning Primer* home straight away and my two favourites , Ka-Brow* & 3D Browtones* arrived over the weekend. So here are my thoughts on the collection, although I can only share with you three in greater detail and a quick video to demo the products.
The Browvo Conditioning Primer is the obvious place to start. This is a clear gel which you can put on over night, on its own or under other brow products. I've not tried it for long enough to know if its conditioning properties work but at the event we were told it takes just 21 days, so just 3 weeks, to really see a difference in your brows. On it own this could be used by the pool to keep them neatly in place and darken them a little but under make up it works well too to start the process. Just make sure you let it dry as your brows will be wet!
Ka-Brow is a cream-gel eyebrow product, something I'd never tried before. This comes in a little pot with a screw top lid with a small brush which pulls out the top. I have to say, I love this product. I wasn't really sure about it but once on it looks great and really doesn't budge. Even the little brush is good for the size and considering it pops out of the lid, so super handy for traveling with or brows on the go!
I finished off with the 3D BROWtones, which are highlights for your brows. I have never heard of anything like this but while using I noticed that it's similar to a good tinted brow gel. Good in a shade up or down to add texture and also to finish your brow look and keep them super neat and tidy.
The Best of the Rest
All of the collection is fab. I got to try the old favourites of Gimmie Brow, Browzings & the High Brow & High Brow Glow. All these have been re-packaged and also come in more colours so if they weren't your thing before then they might be now. Other new products include the ready, set, BROW! which is a shaping & setting gel. This might be too much if you've primed and then used Gimmie Brow or 3D BROWtones but its nice to have a finishing touch. If pencil is more your thing then the goof proof eyebrow pencil is a winner and for ultra precision the precisely, my brow pencil is possibly the thinnest brow product I've ever used.
