Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter

While looking for wedding make up I, obviously, took a long look at the Charlotte Tilbury counter. The Hollywood Flawless Filter had just been released and I was so so into it. I took a look and decided instantly I needed to have it. I've now had it for weeks and weeks and pretty much use it everyday. Not to spoil the review too much but it also featured in my Monthly Favourites post just a few weeks ago. This has been a game changer.

Not just a highlighter, the Flawless Filter can be used as primer or a mixer with/for foundation. At £30 its not the cheapest product but with many ways to use it and the size of the bottle (at 30ml it's the size of most foundations) I imagine this will last me a good long while. I use it over foundation, rather than mixed with or before. I put a few dots on my cheek bones, nose..anywhere I want to shine and then I dab it in with a beauty blender.

The applicator is a doe foot which although isn't the most hygienic, is easy to use either to dot or to slide over the skin. Its then easy to blend with a finger by patting or, like I do, with a make up sponge. Thankfully you wouldn't be using this on a spot or anything so the risk of getting bacteria in the bottle is reduced. I obviously wouldn't use this to highlight a facial flaw. I do find that when I use this on say my nose or chin or somewhere where I have an acne scar or pigmentation that the skin looks smoother and pores look reduced. The formula it self is thicker than a foundation but still liquid. Easy to blend too and doesn't go cakey or oxygenised over the day. In fact, ever since I've started using it I've not gone a day without it.
